The Nigerian hitman’s future has been in the balance for months, but it appears he is close to resolving his future
Premier League club Nottingham Forest have agreed to a £17million (₦9billion) deal with Watford for the procurement of Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis according to reports
Dennis had a sterling individual campaign with Watford in the Premier League last season with ten goals and six assists in 33 league appearances.
Despite joining the Hornets from Club Brugge for €4million, the Super Eagles striker turned out to be the shining light in a dark campaign that saw Watford get relegated.
However, Dennis’ displays did not unnoticed, as he has attracted interest, with West Ham, Villarreal, and Newcastle all linked with a potential move.
However, a transfer to newly-promoted Nottingham Forest has grown stronger in recent days. According to Transfer news live, Watford have accepted a €17million bid for the 24-year-old, and a deal is set to be completed soon.
If Dennis completes the deal, he would be the second Nigerian first team player at the club, alongside Taiwo Awoniyi.
