Boniface has been brilliant since he joined Bodø Glimt in 2020. The Nigerian striker has registered 23 goals and eight assists in 66 appearances.
This season, the 21-year-old has been on fire. Boniface broke a 15-year record in July after his hattrick for Bodø Glimt in their 3-0 thrashing of Klaksvik in the Champions League preliminaries.
In all competitions, Boniface has registered 13 goals in 21 appearances for Bodø Glimt.
However, the 21-year-old will no more be doing business for the Lightning this season, as Royale Union Saint Gilloise have announced his signing.
Boniface joins the Belgian side in a deal worth €2 million( ₦900 million), on a three-year contract, with the option of a one-year extension.
The striker has never played for the Super Eagles. But he would look to follow the footsteps of Nigerian superstars who have made their names whilst in the Jupiler League.
If Boniface continues with his impressive form, it would only be a matter of time before he secures a move to a bigger club.
