Alex Iwobi posted a sizzling performance, winning duels and passing on the occasion of his century appearances

The Super Eagles midfielder hit a 100-game landmark for Everton in the draw against Nottingham Forest.

Iwobi had a strong performance in the game, winning in many areas in the first half especially.

The midfielder who now plays in a deeper role has adapted to the role and has for the third game been the best player in the Everton team this season.

Iwobi in a tweet revealed what he feels about reaching 100 appearances for the Toffees.

“Honoured To Have Made 100 Appearances For The Blues #UpTheToffees” he posted.

The Arsenal midfielder’s newly found form has been the talk of the season and Everton fans have sung his praises so far.

Iwobi has become one of the Toffees mainstays since the end of last season and has continued from where he stopped this season.

He has also grown afresh with the Super Eagles where he has been deployed by Jose Peseiro in a new role.

Since joining Everton from Arsenal in a £35m deal in 2019, Iwobi has had his best few months. He has gone from a maligned player to one who has shown great versatility and style to his game.

The midfielder has found a resurgence under Frank Lampard despite Everton’s struggles and has continued to stand out.
