Three Nigerians were in action as the Italian giants lost their one hundred per cent preseason win record to the Turkish travellers
Nigerian stars Victor Osimhen, Henry Onyekuru, and David Akintola saw action as Napoli held Adana Demirspor to a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Teofilo Patini in Castel di Sangro.
Just like Osimhen for Napoli, Onyekuru and David started the encounter for Adana.
Osimhen had the first shot of the encounter in the first minute, and the 23-year-old thought he had given his side the lead two minutes later.
Running on to a ball from Politano, Osimhen executed a delicious lob to get the ball above the goalkeeper and into the net. But it was correctly ruled out for offside.
The Super Eagles striker was substituted at the break, but Napoli took the lead through Lozano shortly after the restart.

However, penalty goals from Mario Balotelli and Sari turned the game in Adana’s favour before a late own goal saved Napoli’s blushes.
Osimhen now has one goal in three preseason games. The Nigeria international scored in the 10-0 demolition of Anaune on July 14.
The former Lille goal merchant has, however, been kept quiet in the games against Perugia (4-1) and Adana (2-2).
Stars in the dressing room
Meanwhile, Osimhen caught up with international teammate Henry Onyekuru and former Italy international Mario Balotelli in the dressing room after the encounter.
In a picture posted on Instagram, Osimhen was flanked on his right by Onyekuru and on the left by ex-Manchester City striker Balotelli.
Onyekuru only joined Adana this summer after ending his one-year stint in Greece with Olympiakos.
