The Super Eagles defender has been linked with some Premier League clubs, but his manager considers him indispensable
Ex-Inter Milan star and Porto manager Sergio Conceicao considers Zaidu Sanusi untouchable and does not want the Super Eagles star to leave despite interest from Fulham, Brighton, and Crystal Palace.
Sanusi impressed for the Dragons last season, making 40 appearances in all competitions. Despite the presence of Brazilian fullback Wendell, Conceicao preferred Sanusi.
The 25-year-old repaid the trust, scoring the title-winning goal last, and putting in a great shift in the finals of the Portuguese Cup.
His displays have attracted attention from the Premier League, particularly among the mid-table teams. Crystal Palace, Brighton, Everton, and Fulham have reportedly contacted Porto for Sanusi’s services.
However, according to Ojogo, Porto boss Conceicao considers the 25-year-old indispensable.
The former Inter Milan man has already lost one of his most reliable lieutenants Fabio Vieira to Arsenal this summer, and losing Sanusi would further weaken them.
Nonetheless, the thirty-time Portuguese champions could still budge if they receive an enticing offer.
