After helping Rangers win their first Premier Football League title in ten years the previous season, he also played a key role in helping the Gers win their first Scottish Cup in 13 years
If what the papers are saying in Scotland are anything to go by, Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo is not putting pen to paper on a new deal at the Ibrox.
With one year left on his current contract and Premier League clubs lurking, Aribo has given the green light for a move to England.
Rangers got the former Charlton Athletic star for just £300,000 pounds in 2019 and has seen his stock rise up to £10m in three years at the club.
It’s as great a credit to the Gers for the opportunities given to Aribo as it is for the hard work and beautiful displays of the fans’ favourite at Ibrox. Crystal Palace have indicated interest in his signature but more Premier League clubs have joined the fray now including new boys Fulham and Nottingham Forest who are on the verge of completing the signing of Aribo’s compatriot, Taiwo Awoniyi.
The Gers fans are desirous of seeing the Nigerian midfielder for a longer time but the player, according to Scottish papers is looking for an exit as soon as possible.
