The Super Eagles star has been continually linked with a move away from Ibrox, but nothing concrete has emerged from the talks
Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo insists that he is not bothered about the speculations linking him with a move to the Premier League this summer.
Aribo has been one of the top lieutenants for the Gers for the past two seasons. The 25-year-old played an important role in their flawless Premiership triumph two seasons ago. And last season, Aribo had the most appearances for the Scottish Cup champions.
The Rangers man is highly mobile in the middle of the park and switches positions with ease. Also, Aribo has an eye for the pass, and he is a potent finisher in front of goal.
His displays have raised eyebrows abroad, with some Premier League teams interested in securing his services.
Aston Villa, Southampton, and Crystal Palace have all been linked with the former Charlton Athletic man, but he is not interested in all the speculations.
“With all that stuff I don’t really read into it and I just focus on my football,” Aribo told BBC Sports.
“Because you can’t have distractions as it won’t allow you to play the best and be the best that you want to be.
“Which is obviously what I want to be every time I play. I just want to be focused and ready to go.”
However, a move away from Ibrox can not be ruled out, as a lot of Premier League clubs are yet to conclude their summer deals. As such, Aribo could still move to England before the transfer window closes in August.
