The Nigerian fullback already had the Portuguese Liga in his kitty, but he has added one more silverware to his cabinet

Super Eagles fullback Zaidu put up a brilliant performance at left-back to help his Porto side clinch the Taca de Portugal after a 3-1 victory against Tondela at the Estadio Nacional.

After securing the Portuguese league title two weeks ago, the Dragons went in search of their second trophy of the season when they locked horns with Tondela in the finals of Taca de Portugal.

Porto were favorites going into the tie, and they showed their dominance from the start. It took them just 22 minutes to get in front through a goal from Mehdi Taremi.

Super Eagles fullback Sanusi was in the starting lineup and showed his brilliance by maintaining a solid front whenever Tondela came knocking.

Porto added their second through Vitinha after a brilliant assist from Pepe. Taremi had the chance to make it three in the 66th minute, but he fluffed his lines from the penalty spot.

It looked like Tondela could get back into the tie when they pulled one back in the 72nd minute. However, Taremi responded two minutes later to cement a 3-1 victory for the Dragons.

The victory ensures that Porto claim their second Cup title in three years. And for Sanusi, it is his second title of the season after securing the Portugal Liga two weeks ago.
