The Watford-owned player shone at Ross County in the Scottish Professional Football League and won a trio of awards
Joseph Hungbo was loaned to Scotland to get good game time under his belt and enjoy a semblance of consistency.
The forward in addition had arguably the most successful year of his professional career as he finished the season with three club awards.
His freekick against Dundee Utd was voted as Ross County Goal of the Year while he also won the club’s Young Player of the Year and the Players’ Young Player of the Year awards.
The 22-year-old forward also notched 6 goals and 4 assists during the season and would return to Watford hoping to be a part of their promotion-chasing pack next season.
Watford will look to count on a number of their Nigerian stars next season including Tom Dele-Bashiru, Maduka Okoye, William Troost-Ekong, Samuel Kalu and others.
Hungbo, born in England to a Nigerian father and a Togolese mother, after a successful loan spell in Scotland will also be looking to make an impact at Vicarage Road next season.
