The former Super Eagles coach and legend was full of praises for Iwobi as he helped Everton defeat Leicester away from home in a weekend their opponents didn’t come to life

Sunday Oliseh was left awed by Alex Iwobi’s performance in Everton’s 2-1 win at Leicester on Sunday afternoon.

Oliseh hailed the former Arsenal midfielder on Twitter for his efforts in helping Everton secure a very vital win.

Iwobi assisted Everton’s first in the game for Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko as they pegged the Foxes back early on.

He was another star presence for the Toffees and is proving a very important element in their quest to avoid the drop.

Everton are currently seated 16th, and one game short of their closest rivals Leeds United and Burnley.

Oliseh described Iwobi as his little brother and said he enjoyed watching him on Saturday.

Extremely impressed by Alex Iwobi's performance Vs Leicester Today. Simple, clairvoyant, hard-working, tracking back, changing play, and dictating the tempo, especially at a time when his club's survival in the 1er league is on the line. Kudos Lil Bro!! pic.twitter.com/1U6vRjyopt

Recall that Oliseh gave Iwobi his Super Eagles debut when he was coach of the senior national team.

Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman both saw 10 minutes of action in the game as Leicester continued their slump.
