The Foxes put up a decent display against Bruno Lage’s men, but they still ended up on the losing side at the end of the match
Leicester City forward Ademola Lookman has revealed that coach Brendan Rodgers only had words of encouragement for his teammates after their 2-1 Premier League loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
The Foxes continued their shambolic five-game winless streak in the Premier League when they fell to a 2-1 defeat at the Molineux.
Leicester City were decent on the night, especially in the second half. They had the lion share of the possession and had more shots on target.
However, it was just not their night as Daniel Podence scored the clincher for Wolves against the run of play.
Nonetheless, despite the result, Rodgers encouraged his lads to continue with their work, as they look to come out from their bad patch.
“He (Rodgers) just told us to keep our heads up, don’t let our heads drop. Our performance today was a lot more like us, and we’ll keep on working.” He said as per Leicester City TV.
Leicester City will look to pick themselves up when they travel to Denmark to battle Randers on Thursday.
