The Super Falcons forward has been outstanding since joining Las Colchoneras, and she has been rewarded for her efforts

Super Falcon forward Rasheedat has expressed her excitement after she signed to renew her contract at Atletico Madrid Femenino till 2025.

The 23-year-old Nigeria international has witnessed a steady rise in her career since she broke onto the scene in 2016. She played for Nigerian club Robo FC before moving to the Norwegian side Avaldsness in 2018.

Rasheedat joined Atletico in January 2021, and so far, she has shown a lot of promise for the Spanish side. Most of her appearances have been off the bench, but she has scored six goals in 30 appearances.

Her contract was supposed to end in June this year, but her performances prompted the Madrid side to extend the deal.

Speaking after her extension, Rasheedat expressed her joy, stating that she is happy to remain in Spain.

“I am very happy to renew for three more years with Atlético de Madrid and to be able to continue defending these colours,” She said as per AS.

The Super Falcons striker has played twelve games for the Super Falcons, but she is still waiting for her first goal.
