The Baggies are looking to bring in reinforcements before the transfer window shuts as they hope to avoid relegation from the English top-flight
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is one of the players on West Brom radar in this transfer window. According to the Daily Mail, the Baggies manager, Sam Allardyce is interested in the services of Musa to bolster their attacking options.
West Brom are currently embroiled in a relegation battle and are expected to bring in players before the window closes.
The Baggies have just two wins and have scored a meagre 15 goals in 19 Premier League games this season. And they have identified Musa as one of the players that could solve their woes in front of goal.
Musa has been without a club since he left Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr in October. The 26-year-old has always stated his desire to return to Europe, and he could get his wish soon.
The former CSKA Moscow has previous experience in England’s top-flight having featured for Leicester City. Musa joined the Foxes from CSKA in 2016, but he was loaned back to the Russian club two years later.
After his loan stint ended, Musa returned to Leicester, who then sold him immediately to Al-Nassr. Should the 28-year-old seal a deal with West Brom, he would be linking up with his international teammate, Semi Ajayi.
