The three-time African champions face two North African oppositions this month, but they are set to be without a host of star names
Super Eagles will be without the services of Oghenekarao Etebo for the clash against Les Fennecs of Algeria this Friday, and the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia four days later.
Etebo was hoping to make his return to the Nigerian national team after missing recent matches. However, the return has been delayed after he picked up a knock in Galatasaray 1-0 loss to Kasimpasa.
The former Stoke City star played the entire duration of the match, but it appears he picked up an injury after the clash.
A replacement has not been named, but Granada’s Ramon Azeez is the man likely to replace the ex-Warri Wolves midfielder.

Etebo’s injury comes after Victor Osimhen was also excused from the squad due to the Covid-19 that has infected two Napoli players. Nigeria will also be without Wilfred Ndidi, who has been ruled out for three months following groin surgery.
