Leicester City Fans Not Happy With Ndidi’s New Position

The Super Eagles star has played in an unnatural role in the Foxes first two games of the new season, but that has not gone down well with a section of the club fans

Leicester fans have expressed their dissatisfaction at Wilfred Ndidi’s new role in the team, urging the club to sign a defender.

Ndidi has been deployed as a centre back in Leicester’s opening Premier League games, but the club supporters want him back in his preferred role.

The Nigerian was used in that role due to Jonny Evans suspension, while Wes Morgan just returned from an injury.

Although Ndidi played as a defender in the early parts of his career, he gained popularity as a defensive midfielder.

The former Genk star is yet to put a foot wrong in the two games he has played as a centre back, but fans want him back in the midfield, where he’s more effective.

Tell Rogders to return our boy to his DM position before we riot. Or is he trying to replicate what Jose did with Obi mikel

The guy's legit. Well played, Wilf – really needed him to step up for these few games and he hasn't let us down!

Yes he may be good but he is better at CDM and for that reason we need a new CB (AKA Wesley Fofana)

i still prefer him at his natural position. but why was the guy holding his face 😂 😂 😂 Ndidi squarely beat him to d ball

Yes but we need him at cdm or buy one (cdm)

Ndidi will likely move back to his favourite position when Evans returns from suspension in the weekend’s clash against Manchester City.
