The Nigerian youngster was the top dribbler in the Dutch Eredivisie for the 2019-2020 season, and he is eager to show his quality at his new club
New CSKA Moscow signing Chidera Ejuke has sent a message to the fans of the Russian club, describing himself as an exciting footballer who likes to hang on to the ball to create beautiful moments in the final third.
The 22-year-old winger sealed an €11 million move from SC Heerenveen last month and was surprisingly handed his debut two days after in the 3-0 away win over Akhmat Grozny.
Ejuke, who signed a contract until the summer of 2024, will hope to make his home debut for the Muscovites after the international break when Viktor Goncharenko’s men host local rivals Spartak Moscow.
And the Super Eagles hopeful has briefed the club’s faithful of what to expect from him in the days ahead.
“I am a kind of player that likes to hang on to the ball, make some actions, create opportunities for my team, score some goals and as well try to assist,” Ejuke told CSKA Moscow TV.
“I am an exciting player, and hopefully, I can show what I have when I get started.”
Ejuke scored nine goals and created eight assists for Heerenveen last term after joining from Valerenga for €2 million last summer and will be looking to replicate similar form for CSKA.
