The Super Eagles star’s future has been a subject of debate for months, but it appears a decision has finally been made

Victor Osimhen has agreed to join Italian side, Napoli, according to reports from Italian media. The 21-year-old is one of the most in-demand players in Europe with the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham all interested in him.

However, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà via Sempremilan, Napoli are now in the pole position to sign the Nigerian after a deal was agreed between both parties.

Soccernet had reported that the striker has ruled out a move to the Italian Serie A, but it appears he has changed his mind according to latest reports.

But while Osimhen has agreed to join Napoli, I Partenopei are still hoping Lille can reduce the €60m price tag placed on him.

The Nigeria international joined Les Dogues from Royal Charleroi last summer for €13m but has seen his value skyrocket due to his impressive performances.

Osimhen scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 appearances for Lille in his first season which ended early in France due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
