Victor Moses has been linked with a reunion with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte at Inter Milan, and it could happen anytime soon after Inter’s chief executive Beppe Marotta confirmed the clubs interest in the former Super Eagles star.
The 20-year-old is currently on an 18-month loan deal at Fenerbahce but has struggled for game time at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium. The former Wigan star has only featured six times for the Yellow Nightingales this term due to a thigh injury.
And with Moses struggling for fitness, Fenerbahce are not interested in making the loan move permanent. However, Inter could be an option for Moses as they are interested in bringing the former Nigeria international to the San Siro.
Speaking to Skysports, Inter’s chief executive Beppe Marotta confirmed Moses is one of their transfer targets. When asked about the interest in Moses, he said; “Moses? He is definitely a candidate.”
A move to the title-chasing side will see Moses reunite with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte. Moses enjoyed two successful seasons under the Italian during his time at Stamford Bridge, winning the Premier League and FA Cup.
The former Liverpool star played as a wingback in Conte’s 3-5-2 formation in the Italian’s two seasons at the bridge.
