The Super Eagles star is one of Leicester City’s best players this season, and that has seen his market value increase.
According to Transfermarket, Wilfred Ndidi is the 10th most valuable defensive midfielder in the world. The 23-year-old joined the Foxes from Genk for 17.60m euros in 2017 but has seen his value almost triple as he is now valued at 45.00m euros.
Manchester City’s Rodri tops the list ahead of Kimmich (Bayern Munich) and Fabinho (Liverpool) who are both ranked in second and third place.

Since he joined in January, Ndidi has turned out to be one of Leicester’s City most important players. He won the club’s young player of the season in consecutive years.
This season, only Leicester City teammate Ricardo Periera (103) has more tackles in the Premier League than Ndidi (86)
But the Super Eagles star leads the players with most interceptions in the Premier League this campaign. The 23-year-old is a fulcrum of a Leicester side that is currently in the top four, and at a point was challenging Liverpool in the title race.
Ndidi has featured 25 times in all competitions for the Foxes this season, scoring twice.
