Leicester City have celebrated the continuos rise of Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as today marks three years he joined the club.
Ndidi joined the Foxes from Genk for a fee of around £17 million in January 2017 and has made a tremendous impact. In all, he has made 124 appearances in all competitions, scoring 8 goals.
He won the young player of the year after his first six months at the club and then went on to retain the award in his first full season at the club.
The former Nathan boys has missed just one game in the league for the foxes this season, playing 20 times, scoring two times. He has played a major role in Leicester’s surge up to second.

Ndidi is experiencing one of his best campaigns in the Premier League since he joined the team in 2017.
The Nigeria international is, without question, the Premier League’s best ball winner at present and has filled the void left by N’Golo Kante in 2016.
While not necessarily directly comparable, Ndidi has coped admirably with the thankless task of filling Kante’s boots.
His more attack-minded teammates are safe in the knowledge that their anchor in midfield is there to mop up should they get caught upfield.
