Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says goalkeeper, Becker Alisson is gradually recovering from the injury he sustained in the Premier League.
The Brazilian goalkeeper, who was named men’s goalkeeper of the year at the Best FIFA Football Awards, has not featured for Liverpool since suffering a calf injury on the opening day of the season.
However, Klopp revealed that he could be back soon while also disclosing that the duo of Sadio Mane and Divock Origi are back in full training.
“Alisson is in a good way. Yesterday, not with us but with the goalie coaches, [he had] a full session. He is getting closer and closer,” said Klopp, who confirmed Sadio Mane and Divock Origi are back in full training.
“We will have to see now, we have to talk to the medical department. Ali looks like he is close but the final work is with the medical department because we have to ask how it is exactly.
“He is not in contention for tomorrow (Saturday night), he just trains now, but it looks like he will be able to train with the team maybe from Sunday. We don’t know 100 per cent but he is really close.”
