Wilfried Ndidi was not included in Leicester City’s team that played Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon following his error in the game against Chelsea last time out- although there’s no official reason yet on why he is not involved.

The 22-year-old had a mixed performance last time out for the Foxes as he was at fault for Chelsea’s opener but redeemed himself with a bullet header which earned Rodgers’ side a point at Stamford Bridge.

It is, however, a shocker that he was left out of the squad to face the Blades because he has been ever present in Leicester team.  Meanwhile, there are reports that his time at De Montfort University where he is studying business could have been the reason he is missing from the matchday squad.

The Super Eagles star revealed he’s been combining playing and studying together, saying he hopes to use his degree to help young ones when he retires.

Nevertheless, there has been no official report on why he missed out on matchday squad, but Soccernet.ng will update readers as things unfold.

This is a poor piece of journalism. It’s based on pure speculation. Wait fir the official line before jumping to conclusion . Ndidi was close to man of the match least week – according to the presenter of the award .
And as for the match against Ukraine , Leicester are obligated to release the player under FIFA rules
