Who is Better: Neymar or Hazard? Real Madrid’s Marcelo reveals his choice

Real Madrid’s fullback has expressed his desire to see his Brazilian teammate join up with Zinedine Zidane’s side this summer and not return to the Camp Nou.

The Brazil international also listed both the PSG forward and the former Chelsea winger among the top five players in the world.

Hazard joined Real Madrid earlier in the summer for a deal worth 100 million euros, headlining a string of arrivals into the Santiago Bernabeu that include Eder Militao, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy.

Barcelona are believed to be the preferred destination of Neymar but Marcelo would rather have him join Real Madrid, declaring the former Barcelona man to be superior to his new teammate.

“Eden’s a top player,” he acknowledged in an interview with Marca.

“A player of high quality and, like Neymar, has the quality to be in the top five.

“He’s impressive, you cannot compare them, but Neymar is better for me.”

“Neymar is an unpredictable player,” Marcelo said.

“When defending when you have anticipated something, he has already thought of something else and it’s impossible to defend.

“Having Neymar at Real Madrid would be a huge pleasure. Madrid have to do everything to sign the best players in the world and his past at Barcelona would not be a problem.”
