LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said there’s no reason for Manchester United to keep Paul Pogba if he does not want to stay at the club.
Pogba’s future has been subject of speculation all summer with the World Cup winner looking for a move away from Old Trafford.
Speaking in a promotional tour for Adidas in China last month, the 25-year-old revealed this summer could be a time for a new challenge after spending three years at Man Utd.
Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and former club Juventus, but the Red Devils are not prepared to let their most prized asset leave.
However, it is something that could affect United’s prospect according to former player Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede believes the club will be better off by allowing Pogba leave.
“I think if he doesn’t want to stay it makes no sense to keep him. You let him go if he wants to be somewhere else. ” Ibrahimovic told BBC. “Use the situation to bring in somebody that wants to stay.” He added.

He revealed the club should not keep a player who will not be willing to give his all as that could affect the performance of the team on the pitch.
