Gareth Bale’s agent has hit back at Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane after he confirmed the Welshman will leave the club this summer.
Bale was left out of Real Madrid squad that played Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup and when asked on why he did not include the 30-year-old in his squad, Zidane revealed he is not part of his plan.
“Bale did not play because he is very close to leaving. “We hope he leaves soon, it would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.”
“I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done, I have to make decisions, we have to change,” he added.
However, Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnet have taken offence in those comments, saying Zidane is a disgrace for talking about a player who has done so much for Los Blancos like that.

“Zidane is a disgrace to speak like that about someone who has done so much for Real.” If and when Gareth goes it will be because it is in the best interest of Gareth and nothing to do with Zidane pushing.” He told ESPN.
Tottenham, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are among the clubs interested in the 30-year-old, but Bale will only leave for a club that suits his immediate family according to reports.
