Nigeria's Super Falcons have been crowned champions of Africa after defeating South Africa's Bayana Bayana 4-3 on penalties in Saturday's final of the Africa Women's Cup of Nations.

Despite creating goal scoring chances, both teams failed to break the deadlock after regulation time and extra time to put the game on penalties.

Super Falcons goalkeeper, Tochukwu Oluehi was the hero of the night as she stopped Bayana Bayana's fifth spot kick to help the team win their 11th Africa Women's Cup of Nations title.
