Mundo Deportivo claim Arsenal head of recruitment Sven Mislintat has put forward Dembele's name as a target for the club.
Mislintat played a big role in signing Dembele for Dortmund for Rennes. Gunners manager Unai Emery has agreed with Mislintat on the 21-year-old and wants a deal done in January.
Signing Dembele could be made much easier as well, with the Liverpool Echo reporting yesterday that the Reds were not interested in signing any players in the upcoming transfer window.
