Kayode leaves Girona for Shakhtar Donetsk

Super Eagles striker, Olanrewaju Kayode has made an exit from La Liga club, Girona

It is understood that Kayode has now joined Ukrainian top division side, Shakhtar Donetsk, from his parent club, Manchester City.

According to Girona’s official Twitter handle, Kayode who was on loan from Manchester City to Girona signed a short-term deal with the former Ukrainian Champions.

“Nigeria striker, Larry Kayode will play for Shakhtar Donetsk till the end of the season. Good luck @larrykaz7_boi,” a tweet from the official Girona Twitter handle reads.

Shakhtar Donetsk also confirmed the deal on their official website.

Kayode had no goal to his name despite featuring in 13 games for Girona.
