Barcelona are ready to make a massive cash offer for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
Sport says the Catalan giants have launched ‘Operation Coutinho’ which will be led by club president Josep Bartomeu.
He believes Barcelona need to sign the Brazilian this winter if they are to win La Liga.
Liverpool rejected three bids from the Nou Camp club in the summer and will be reluctant to sell next month.
But Barcelona are prepared to offer €130million (£115m) though accept that they may have to increase that to €150m (£133m).
The Brazilian would be made Barca’s second highest paid behind only Lionel Messi. He would earn €14m (£12m) a season after tax.
