Chelsea are launching a bid for Barcelona wing-back Sergi Roberto.
Sport says Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made the Spain international a priority target this month.
And Chelsea are already in contact with Barca about meeting Roberto's €40m buyout clause.
Conte has pushed Chelsea chiefs to bring Roberto to London, though the player is still to be convinced.
The key is Conte can offer Roberto a regular start in midfield as Nemanja Matic's replacement, whereas the youngster is viewed as a wing-back atBarca.
