Barcelona close to signing Manchester City target

Barcelona is close to securing the service of Manchester City target Ousmane Dembele for a transfer fee of a £118m.

The Dortmund forward is one of the most coveted players in the world today and he has been in great form for the past two seasons and he is finally set to leave Germany for elsewhere.

Manchester City is long-term admirers of the France international but, according to El Mundo Deportivo, he has his mind set on joining Barcelona.

The Spanish side is set to part with £90m to sign Dembele, but a further £28m will be paid at a later date via add-ons.

That means the forward could eventually cost a staggering £118m, the Camp Nou giants are desperate to bring him in to bolster their attacking options and also in a bid to replace Neymar.

The La Liga club sold Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record £196m earlier this summer and they believe Dembele can fill his boots if signed.
