Barcelona is closing on complete a deal for former Real Madrid forward Angel Di Maria from Paris Saint –Germain for a total cost of €50m according to reports in Spain.
The deal is said to be at an advanced stage despite the strenuous relationship between both clubs following Neymar’s switch earlier this summer.
According to Diario AS, The Argentine will be offered a four-year contract by Barcelona, who have been frustrated in their pursuit of other targets, and become their fifth summer signing.

The Camp Nou giants are also keen on deals for Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho but see the former Benfica and Real Madrid player as the most realistic target.
Di Maria left the Bernabeu for an ill-fated move to Manchester United in 2014 before moving to the Parc des Princes the following year and he has netted 16 Ligue 1 goals in 61 appearances.
The Parisians are hopeful of a series of sales to balance the books after the record €222m Neymar deal and are also said to be hopeful of signing Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe.
