Barcelona transfer deal next summer hinges on Real Madrid

Barcelona transfer deals next summer will solely depend on Real Madrid, Neymar will be open to joining Manchester United if Real Madrid continues to dominate world football according to reports.

It has been reported that the former Santos forward could move to Old Trafford after Real Madrid forwardCristiano Ronaldo rejected Manchester United.

The Real Madrid striker was tipped for a return to Old Trafford amid his tax allegations but the transfer deallooks dead for now.

Manchester United is always in the market for the best players and is also ready to splash the cash if needed is, as seen in the acquisition of their former player, Paul Pogba for a world record of £89million last summer.

However, Spanish outlet Don Balon claims their pursuit of Neymar hinges on how Barcelona and RealMadrid fare next season.

It is said the forward is worried that, after winning La Liga and retaining the Champions League last term, Real Madrid could continue to dominate world football.

Real Madrid has been transformed greatly under the management of Zinedine Zidane, they won the Champions League back to back a feat no club has been able to achieve in the tournament current format.

Zidane has also championed the club to win the La Liga for the first time in five years.

While Barcelonafacea big rebuilding job under new manager Ernesto Valverde.

Valverde has succeeded Luis Enrique at the Nou Camp and the report says he could face a fight to retain Neymar if Barcelona fails to challenge or win major honours next term.

And Lionel Messi could also influence a stunning transfer.

The report adds Neymar is fed up of playing in Messi’s shadow and a move away from Barcelona could beckon as a result.

The player is also supposedly open to playing for United gave their status as one of the biggest clubs inworld football.

Speaking in March, however, Jose Mourinho described the prospect of signing the Brazil international as ‘absurd’.

“It’s speculation, I always try to be objective and pragmatic with clubs and to ask them what they can give me,” he told ESPN Brazil.

“A club like Barcelona cannot and will not lose Neymar.

“Although [Lionel] Messi is still a young player with years ahead of him, he’s almost 30, and Neymar will be the great player of Barcelona post-Messi.

“So much that I think it [trying to sign Neymar] is like trying to break into a safe, impossible.

Barcelona has made a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.
