Arsenal has reached an agreement with Barcelona ace Arda Turan over a potential move this summer, according to a Haberturk report.
However, no official bid has been made and the Turkish media outlet claims the 30-year-old midfielder has offers from China on the table too.
This comes after talkSPORT previously reported that the Catalan giants were ready to sell Turan this summer and that he would be available to the Gunners for £25million.
The Turkish ace struggled to nail down a starting spot in Barcelona’s midfield this term, but he still managed to make 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists.
He arrived at the Nou Camp from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015 for £29million and has since played more than 50 league and cup games for the club.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking to bolsterhis squad this summer as he looks to improve on his side’s fifth-place finish in the Premier League.
Turan, who can play on either wing or centrally as an attacking midfielder could be an ideal signing as he could slot into either of Wenger’s favored systems.
He has been capped 96 times by Turkey, scoring 16 goals, and he played all three games in their disappointing 2016 European Championships campaign, which saw them knocked out at the group stage
