Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has expressed appreciation to his numerous fans who extended goodwill messages after undergoing a successful surgery.
Having been ruled out of the season, the Lille safest hands ruptured his knee in his side’s 2-0 defeat to Rennes – and was replaced in the 65th minute by Mike Maignan.
He took to his twitter handle to thank fans for their support and prayers before and after the successful surgery.
“God bless you all for your numerous goodwill messages and wishes. It was done and it was successfully done.Thanks to God,” Enyeama wrote on Wednesday.
He remains the country’s most capped player with more than 100 appearances for the Super Eagles and was part of the team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup where the team crashed out in the round of 16 after losing 2-0 to France.
