Barcelona got the better side of Real Madrid last season when they secure the signature of Valencia best player, Andre Gomes for €35m rising to €55m in the last summer.
Real were one of the clubs reportedly interested in Gomes before he was signed by Barcelona snatched him.
Real Madrid almost certainly won't take Gomes, though Don Balon speculates that Bernabeu president Florentino Perez is thankful it was Barcelona and not Real Madrid that took the bullet and therefore isn't likely to try and land him now, notwithstanding the rivalry between the clubs.
