Financial Boost: NFF Set To Sign Deal Worth US$9.2 million With Oil Company

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)
will have a huge sigh of relief after agreeing a deal worth around
US$9.2 million over the next five years with a multinational oil and
energy company, Aiteo Group.

The federation has been
financially handicap as a result of the nation's economy recession,
which has affected them in meeting up with their financial
responsibility with the national team’s coaches, most especially the
Super Eagles.

NFF President, Amaju Pinnick was on hand to
welcome the latest development with the energy company, of which he
revealed that the financial boost will help take care of national team
coaches' salaries.

“This will make it easier for us to plan adequately for our national teams,” NFF boss Amaju Pinnick said.

“It is important to note that this will also take care of the national team coaches' salaries.”

“There will be no owing of coaches for the next five years,” he added.

“This lucrative deal with Aiteo will cover all the national teams and has an option of a one-year extension,”

“We are happy to have a sponsor come in at this crucial time and this is a big boost for our football.”

The deal with the Aiteo Group will commence on 1 May.
