Full Copa del Rey quarter final draw
Neymar vs Athletic Bilbao

The draw for the 2016/2017 Copa del Rey quarter final have finally been done and all teams curiousities have been fed, they now know the team they must have to get past in order to qualify for the semifinal and keep their hopes of winning the spanish cup alive.

Barcelona and Real Madrid, the two powerhouses of the tournament got quite tricky draws. Barça were drawn against Real Sociedad who made them see hell this season as they luckily got a 1-1 draw at the Anoeta after one of their worst performances of the last decade.

However, Real Madrid got the highflying Celta Vigo although it’s an easier draw than Barça’s as Los Blancos alway get good results against the Galician club. Atlético Madrid will be one of the happiest of all the sides as they avpided both Barça and Real Madrid to get Eibar who won’t be impressed by the draw.

But the two happiest teams will no doubt be Alcorcón and Alavés who both face each other, escaping the ugly paws of the Spanish giants. The first leg games will be played on 18th and 19th of January while the second leg holds on the 25th and 26th of January.
