Nigerian striker, Victor ‘The Beast’ Anichebe has thanked Sunderland FC fans for their support, assuring them that the team will bounce back in their next Premier League game.

Reacting on twitter after the club’s 2-1 away loss to Liverpool on Saturday, the former Everton striker said they will continue to put in their efforts towards achieving the best this season.

He also admitted it was a difficult game for The Black Cats having held Liverpool before Devock Origi broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 75th minute .

“Difficult game today, thanks you to the fans for the support!! We’ll continue working hard and bounce back next week,” Anichebe wrote on twitter after the game at Anfield.

Sunderland returned to bottom of the Premier League table after the defeat with eight points from 13 round of matches played so far this season.
