Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho was on the scoresheet as Manchester City hammered Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium in Wednesday’s Champions League group C match.
Having scored the winning goal that ensured the Citizens snatch a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend, the former Golden Eaglets forward continued to prove his worth for manager, Pep Guardiola.
Iheanacho came on from the bench to replace hattrick hero, Sergio Aguero in the 83rd minute and made his mark by scoring in the 90th minute to help the home team to a comfortable victory.
City has been unbeaten since Guardiola took over from former manager, Manuel Pellegrini this season and the Spaniard has put so much faith on Iheanacho.
