Former Super Eagles forward Peter Osaze Odemwingie has praised compatriot Odion Ighalo after he bagged the EPL player of the month ‎award for December.

Speaking on Ighalo’s feat via his twitter handle, the Stoke City striker said: “Congratulation brother, no doubt, you deserved it, BPL PLAYER OF THE MONTH.”

Odion Ighalo won the award in a keenly contested race ahead of Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, Stoke City forward Marko Arnautovic, Leicester City forward Riyad Mahrez and ‎Nigerian born Tottenham midfielder, Dele Alli.
