Kelechi Iheanacho will sit out Manchester City’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Saturday on account of injury.
The attacker was poised to make his first start for The Citizens on Tuesday in the Capital One Cup but could not feature against Sunderland after picking up a minor injury in training ahead of the tie at the Stadium of Light.

And based on prognosis by club medics, it means the Nigeria youth international might be unavailable for the Premier League game against Newcastle United on October 3.
Since the season started, Kelechi Iheanacho has made Manuel Pellegrini’s 18 – man squad for each of the 6 games City have contested in the top flight.
