The Anglo – Nigerian midfielder Dele Alli has scooped Tottenham Hotspur’s Goal of the Month award for the month of August in a poll conducted by the official website of the White Hart Lane outfit in partnership with sports clothing and accessories company, Under Armour.

The England youth – teamer ran away with the accolade for his spectacular 81st minute strike in the Premier League tie against Leicester City after he was set up by Nacer Chadli.

Dele Alli has suited up for the Londoners in four more games after that fixture at the KP Stadium but did not add to his solitary strike though he was credited with an assist in the 3 – 1 victory over Qarabag in the Europa League last Thursday.

The 19 – year – old and his teammates welcome fierce rivals Arsenal to White Hart Lane on Wednesday night in the third round of the Capital One Cup.
