Brown Ideye’s intermediary, Hootan Ahmadi, says his client is delighted to complete his move to Greek champions Olympiakos from West Brom.
Alongside his agent, the Nigeria international arrived in Athens late on Wednesday night to begin his adventure with the 42-time champions of Greece.
”Yeah Ideye is very happy to be playing in such a big club in Europe. A club that so many fans follow and has a great history,” said Hootan Ahmadi to gazzetta.gr.
”The organization is excellent and the team from the first moment we were made to feel very well and welcome.”
Hootan Ahmadi has thanked the management of The Red-Whites for signing the Super Eagles striker, adding that he will repay the club for showing faith in him by scoring goals.
”Me and Ideye would like to thank everyone in the team, from the coach, football manager and technical director who were involved in this deal and especially Mr. Marinakis, the President, for his contribution.
Brown Ideye follows in the footsteps of Nigeria’s record scorer Rashidi Yekini and ex Flying Eagles star Michael Olaitan, who have both represented Olympiakos in the past.[post_ad]
