Super Eagles winger Victor Moses will join West Ham United on loan for the rest of the season, according to Sky Sports.
The summer transfer window closes at 6pm on Tuesday in England because Monday is a Bank Holiday and clubs, agents and players are in dire rush to conclude transfer deals.
The British news outlet were emphatic on Monday that the Nigeria international who has not played competitive games for Chelsea this season will indeed make the season-long move to West Ham as widely speculated recently.
Winger Moses spent last season on loan at Stoke City, having been at Liverpool for the 2013/14 campaign.
Sky Sports say it appears the 24-year-old who was not invited by Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh for this weekend’s 2017 African Cup of Naions qualifier against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam will be shipped out again this term – with Upton Park his ‘likely destination’.[post_ad]
Moses featured in Jose Mourinho’s pre-season plans during the International Champions Cup and made an appearance in the defeat against Arsenal in the Community Shield, but has faded from the first-team picture again since the competitive action resumed.
