The Catalans have beaten their opponent on two occasions this season after failing to to secure a win in their previous 6 meetings.
Atleti qualified for the quarter finals after seeing off city rivals Real Madrid 4-2 on aggregate but trail 1-0 to Barcelona and Simeone has said his team will take every minute of the game as if it was the Last.
Lionel Messi will be seeking to continue to hurt his favourite opponent who he has scored 22 times and has said he and his teammates will to everything to beat Atleti.
Barcelona have been given a boost at the back as defender Jeremy Mathieu is declared fit and is available for the game.
The Blaugrana outfit will also welcome Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez back to the squad as the duo were left out of Barca's 6-0 sluttering of Elche in the Liga on sunday.
