Arsenal target Pedro is set to be offered a new contract by Barcelona in order to stave off interest from the Gunners and other parties, reports claim.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be interested in the Spanish winger, and the possibility of a move to the Emirates began to look more likely as Pedro looks frustrated at his lack of playing time.
It seems despite his frustrations Barcelona still want to offer the 27-year-old to stay at the Nou Camp however, and are willing to offer him a bumper new contract.
His current contract runs until 2016, and the La Liga giants are looking to tie him down as soon as possible to avoid letting him get into the final year of his contract and thereby leaving for free.
Pedro may be even more determined to secure his Nou Camp exit since the arrival of former Liverpool man Luis Suarez but the star looks ready to stay and compete for a spot. The Uruguayan is set to finish his four month ban at the end of this month, and his return to action may see the pacey winger’s game time reduced even further.
Well, We hope he stays
