Super Eagles forward Rafiu Durosinmi has weighed in on his impressive start to life at Belgian side Genk this season.

Super Eagles: Durosinmi reveals motivation behind goalscoring form
Durosinmi continued his impressive run on Saturday, scoring his sixth league goal of the season in Genk's 3-0 victory over Kortrijk.
His latest goal also took him to the top of the Belgian Golden Shoe standings, putting him ahead of the other contenders for the prestigious award.
Speaking in an interview, the 23-year-old explained that his desire to win the Golden Shoe at the end of the season is giving him extra motivation to keep scoring. While he also credited his teammates for helping him find the net regularly, he stressed the desire to maintain his form throughout the campaign.
“I'm happy to be able to put on the shirt with the Golden Bull. It gives extra motivation to be able to continue wearing this sweater. With the help of my teammates, I manage to score smoothly. I hope we can continue on this elan”, Durosinmi revealed via HBVL.
“The most important thing is not that I'm at the top now, but that I'm still there at the end of the season. Otherwise, it will be of little use to you.”

Durosinmi was left out of Eric Chelle's squad for the Super Eagles’ AFCON 2027 qualifying matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau last month.
However, he will now be hoping to continue his form, which could put him in contention for a return to the squad ahead of the November doubleheader against Tanzania.
The international break gave the Super Eagles striker an opportunity to rest and build momentum and he is now focused on helping Genk return to winning ways after dropping points before the break.
“I stayed in Genk. We had a few days off that I was able to spend with my family. That was very nice. Although I did miss the game.
“We missed some points for the break. It was important to give everything for the club and the fans and to start again with winning games. That's what we were so hungry for”, the Super Eagles striker concluded.
