El-Kanemi Warriors are out of the CAF Confederation Cup after losing 2-0 at Raja Casablanca, going down 4-2 on aggregate in the second preliminary round.
Aymen Barkok scored in the 87th minute at the Complexe Sportif Mohammed V, and defender Marian Huja added a second in added time. Raja go through to the group stage.
The Nigerian side had drawn 2-2 in the first leg at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on 18 October, a game Soccernet previewed in its look at the second legs. Nigerian Mathias Oyewusi scored for Raja in that first leg.
Analysis: a tie that stayed level until the 87th minute
The aggregate score was 2-2 until Barkok's goal, so El-Kanemi held a level tie for 86 minutes in Casablanca. That is not the picture of a mismatch.
The exit follows Enugu Rangers out of the Champions League, which Soccernet covered in its piece on Rangers and the group stage.
El-Kanemi's focus now turns back to the NPFL, where Rivers United host Rangers International on 1 November in a title-race meeting.
