Super Eagles invitee Zadok Yohanna could be on the verge of leaving AIK in the coming days amid growing interest from Brighton & Hove Albion and RB Leipzig, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian youngster has emerged as one of Europe's hottest prospects and has attracted attention from several clubs across the continent's top leagues ahead of the summer transfer window.
Yohanna only moved to Sweden from Ikon Allah Academy in 2025 but has enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough campaign in 2026, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 12 appearances across all competitions for AIK.
However, an injury ruled him out of AIK's last three games before the Swedish league's spring break and also prevented him from joining Nigeria for the 2026 Unity Cup, despite receiving his first senior call-up from Eric Chelle, although he has returned to training.

Zadok Yohanna on the verge of AIK exit
Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna’s impressive performances for AIK have attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, and his ability to play in different positions has also made him more appealing.
The likes of Real Madrid, Rennes, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax have all been linked with the talented youngster, while several scouts have continued to monitor his progress in Sweden.
However, Brighton and RB Leipzig are currently the two clubs most actively pursuing the 18-year-old and they have identified him as a priority target following his outstanding displays this season.
According to reports from Florian Plettenberg, Brighton have already reached a verbal agreement with the youngster and have opened discussions with AIK over a potential transfer.

A source close to the negotiation confirmed that several major clubs are interested in the winger, although Brighton and Leipzig currently stand out.
“It's true, with Brighton and Leipzig also, as well as some big, big clubs wanting him as well”, Soccernet.ng was told.
Leipzig offer falls short of AIK valuation
German club RB Leipzig could lose Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande this summer, with Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United all reportedly interested in the talented attacker.
That situation has intensified Leipzig's pursuit of Yohanna, who they have identified as a potential replacement and a player capable of developing into a key asset for the club in the future.
However, the source revealed that while Leipzig are discussing a deal worth around €20 million, the figure remains below AIK's valuation of €30 million, approximately N48 billion.
“Leipzig have not given an offer for now; they're only close. They’ve not really met the demand yet, but they're making an attempt. I don't think AIK will accept the offer.
“Leipzig are talking of €20 million, but AIK are demanding €30 million.”
Brighton pushing hard for a deal
Premier League side Brighton have emerged as the latest club to make a serious move for Yohanna, and the source confirmed that the Seagulls are working hard to beat rival suitors to his signature.
Soccernet.ng was also told that a deal could be finalized within the coming days if an agreement is reached between all parties.
“I hope so. Brighton are pushing too. They are really pushing, but I don't think they have met the demand yet. There is serious pushing. I think maybe today or tomorrow we'll get the right offer. It is really close, so we'll know which one and finalize with them.”

Less than a year after arriving in Europe, Yohanna could now be on the verge of a move to one of the most competitive leagues in the world.
The 18-year-old has all the qualities needed to succeed at Brighton. Meanwhile, their talent development project suggests the move could be an ideal next step in his career.
However, AIK's valuation must first be met before any transfer can be completed. Should an agreement be reached, Yohanna would become the most expensive sale in the history of the Swedish Allsvenskan.
